Underbench & Workbench Freezers

Underbench and workbench freezers keep frozen stock within reach of the line, with a stainless bench on top. Here's what to check.

1. Choose the length

Single door models suit small spaces, while two and three door benches give you more storage along a bench run. Match the length to the space you have.

2. Check the height and depth

Make sure it fits under your existing benches, or plan for it to become your bench. Leave a gap around the unit for airflow, because a unit that can't breathe works harder and wears out sooner.

3. Temperature and climate

Most models run between about -22°C and -18°C. Check the maximum ambient temperature in the spec table, and choose a tropical-rated model if your kitchen or bar runs hot. Most plug into a standard 10A power point.

Food that's meant to be frozen must stay frozen. Avoid loading in large amounts of warm product at once, keep door seals clean, and check the temperature regularly.
