A gelato display needs to keep product at the perfect serving temperature and make it look irresistible. Here's what to look for.

1. Count the pans

Gelato displays are sized by the number of 5L pans they hold, for example 12, 18 or 24 pans. Think about how many flavours you want on show.

2. Serving temperature

Gelato is usually served a little warmer than hard frozen ice cream. Check the temperature range in the spec table suits your product.

3. Style and space

Curved glass gives a classic look, while square glass suits a modern fit-out. Measure your counter space and allow room for staff to serve from behind.

4. Climate

Check the maximum ambient temperature in the spec table, and choose a tropical-rated model if your kitchen or bar runs hot. Gelato displays work hard in warm shops near entrances and windows.
