Getting it into your kitchen
We deliver kerbside, so here’s what this one needs once it arrives.
- From the kerb: allow two people to carry it. About 58kg in its packaging.
- Through the door: doorways at least 700mm wide. The narrowest side is 650mm unboxed (760mm boxed), plus 50mm for your hands. Measure doors, hallways and corners on the way in.
- Hooking it up: Standard 10A power point. Plugs straight into a normal wall socket.
- Water: needs a water supply and a drain close by. The installation guide lists the fittings.
- Before switching on: move it upright where you can. If it’s been tilted or laid down, let it stand before turning it on; the manual gives the waiting time.

The Blizzard SN-81B Underbench Ice Maker Air Cooled is built for bars, restaurants and cafés that go through a lot of ice but don't have floor space for an upright machine. It produces up to 80kg of 22mm cube ice a day from a stainless steel unit that fits under a standard bench.
